The right tools make social media content easy to create, curate, manage, schedule and analyze - but there are more and more being launched each day - here are my favourites;
One my most used resources - Canva helps you create beautiful, eye catching designs to boost your social media messages. They offer numerous templates that help you look like a great designer, even if you don't always know exactly what you are doing.
Hootsuite is a social media management dashboard which allows you to manage and track all your social media accounts in one place.
Not only does it save you time by removing the need to login and out of multiple accounts, you can also manage and monitor co-ordinated campaigns using their scheduling and dashboard tools.
The easiest way to identify, organize, and manage your followers on Twitter and Instagram.
Social Rank sorts your followers based on Most Valuable (highest profile followers), Most Engaged (frequency of retweets, mentions, and replies), Most Followed, and Best Followers (followers who have engaged most recently with you). You can select additional filters to find followers based on their bio keywords, geographic locations, interests, and activity. Also create custom lists for special engagement campaigns and find out who your competitors’ top followers are!
Bit.ly is a url shortener - great for using where character space is limited eg Twitter or for hiding clunky long URLs. It also monitors clickthrough to monitor conversion rates.
Feedly allows you to track news and posts in your industry - allowing you to keep up to date with what's popular and generating content for your social media feeds.
