Twitter have relaxed their strict 140 character limit so you can now pack more content into your Tweets

  • @Name will no longer count towards the 140 character count, making it much easier to have longer and more meaningful conversations.

  • Attachments such as polls, videos and photos will also no longer count – and attachments on tweets are a big factor in boosting engagement and retweets.

  • Link two Tweets together to get across longer messages by using Twitter’s new Quote option to give you 280 characters. Simply share your first tweet, and then quote that tweet and add the rest of your message in the 140 characters available to you in the second tweet.
